Our School
Southcoates is a 95 year old listed building. Southcoates used to be a Junior School and had different sections for girls and boys. It is now a Primary School and the girls and boys are in mixed classes.
At Southcoates we have school councillers. These are children who want to try and make the school a better place. The councillers have monthly meetings with the Community Links Advisor to discuss any issues raised by the pupils. Thanks to the school council we now have water fountains in the school.
The School's Chair of Governors is Mr E M Cookman and the Parent Governors are Mrs V Langford, Mrs K Weaver and Mrs D Boardley.

We were recently visited by Ofsted and received a good report.
